The watchTowr Platform continuously monitors TLS/SSL certificates and generates findings when certificates are approaching expiration or have already expired. Users can configure TLS/SSL Certificate Expiry Settings to control when these findings are created by specifying a threshold in days before the certificate expiration date. For example, setting the threshold to 30 days will generate a finding when a certificate has 30 days or fewer remaining before expiry.
Navigate to Configuration > Finding Management > Finding Automation Settings.
Move the slider to define the number of days before expiry to highlight certificates.
A confirmation message will appear at the left bottom corner of the page if the setting has been updated successfully.
